Food Operative
McAtamney’s Traditional Butchers is a family run company, with Oran McAtamney and his two sons, Mark and Declan overseeing the daily operations. The first store was opened in 1933, since then we have expanded to a total of 13 shops, 4 deli’s, a boning hall and a Gourmet Kitchen facility. You will be working closely with our existing team, therefore good communication skills are required. Experience of working in a food processing factory is desired but not essential as full training will be given. There is the option to progress to different areas of our production line for the right candidate.
We believe in continuously training and upskilling our staff, we offer the opportunity to complete an NVQ during work hours, as well as completing Level 2 Food Hygiene when required.
We require Dispatch Operatives for our busy kitchen in Portglenone.
Required Days and hours:
Day Shift: Monday – Friday 8am – 4.30pm
Duties:
Weighing products and ensuring all quality control requirements are met
Labelling dishes as per company requirements
Ensuring the company’s food hygiene practices are observed in all elements
Complying with all Company and Hygiene standards
Working in a safe manner at all times.
You need to show us that you have the following:

· Experience of working in a team (essential).
· Minimum C Grade in GCSE Maths / English (or equivalent)
